DZscipt is a DAYZER-specific scripting language that allows full observation and customization of DAYZER’s assumptions and output. Based on the programming language Lua, it provides the backbone for several packaged analytical tools available through DAYZER GUIs and allows advanced users full control of their workflow and sensitivity analysis by modifying these scripts and writing new ones. Capabilities include the ability to dynamically change any assumptions or system topology and full access to the simulation’s object model, including any inputs that can be given through an input database or modified in the DAYZER GUI, and the impact of every generation unit or transmission line outage on every system constraint (Shift Factors, and Loss of Distribution Factors).
