Dr. Ashutosh Timilsina is a dynamic scholar and innovator at the intersection of computer science, electrical engineering, and sustainable energy systems. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science, specializing in decentralized P2P energy trading and user behavioral modeling, Dr. Timilsina's journey began with a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Nepals topmost Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus. With a rich background in leading renewable energy projects, his impactful research has integrated blockchain, machine learning, and behavioral modeling for decentralized P2P energy trading. Currently an Energy Analyst at Cambridge Energy Solution, Dr. Timilsina is responsible to develop, maintain and update the electricity market models and transmission system models for several North American ISOs/RTOs. His commitment at CES also extends to Quality Control of all changes and updates to CES products including DAYZER, TRANZER and database models. His multidisciplinary expertise seamlessly blends electrical engineering, computer science, and economics, contributing to unique perspective in assisting in the development of energy markets models.
